Types of winter tires

Winter tires to classify the types of tread pattern. Tires are the Scandinavian and European tread. Each of these types is designed to operate on different winter roads.

The European figure is more like a rain tire year. Features of the tire tread is the large number of lamellae, diagonal construction with lots of drainage channels and the availability of powerful lugs.

Tires with a European tread ideal for muddy roads with snow. These buses should operate on those roads that are cleaned regularly, and where relatively high air temperature.

The characteristic features of the Scandinavian tire tread is the large number of "pieces" in the form of a rhombus or a rectangle, which are staggered. Tires with a Scandinavian style tread are best for use in deep snow.

This tread pattern provides excellent traction tires with icy or snowy road surface. These tires are quite possibly operate in those conditions, which are designed to "European" type tires.
